    Visiting Your Loved Ones

    Having family and friends visit while you're at Clearview Regional can be an important part of the recovery process, so we try to be as accommodating as possible with your visitors.  However the rest is also very important to people who are recovering from an illness or surgery, so we ask that you and your visitors observe the guidelines we have established. We have policies and procedures in place to help you and your family work with our doctors, nurses, and staff to get the most from your hospital stay.

    General Visiting Hours:

    8 am to 9 pm

    Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours:

    5:30 am to 6:00 am

    9:30 am to 3:00 pm

    4:30 pm to 6:00 pm

    8:00 pm to 8:30 pm

    Overnight visitors are not allowed in the intensive care rooms or semi-private rooms.

    Maternity Visiting Hours:

    8:00 am to 9:00 pm

    No children under the age of 12 permitted except siblings of newborns. 

    Visiting Guidelines:

    Visitors who have experienced a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, skin rash, vomiting, or diarrhea in the last 48 hours should refrain from visiting and exposing the patient risk of the disease.

    Visitors must sign in at the front desk and wear an ID sticker while in the hospital.

    Patient visitation is limited to two people at any time except in circumstances when more visitors are deemed necessary for the patient's welfare.  The maximum number will be four at any given time.

    Visitors who are disruptive or disturb patients, staff, or other visitors will be asked to stop the disruptive behavior or be escorted the premises.

    Clearview Regional is a tobacco-free campus-smoking is prohibited with the facility and on the grounds.

    Visitors should not bring food to patients without physician approval.

    When physician is consulting or special care progress,  visitors may be asked to leave the room.

    Children visiting who are under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
